A fresh photo of the Russian-made BUK surface-to-air missile system, belonging to the Syrian Air-Defense Force. According to some estimates, there are approximately up to 200 air defense systems both Syrian and Russian on permanent combat readiness throughout the country.
While it’s not possible to identify the version of the BUK missile system seen on the photo, the Syrian Air-Defense Force operates BUK M1-2 and BUK M2 missile launchers.
