The Syrian Air Force and the Syrian Army continue its advances in Hama province, killing tens of terrorists and destroying their military hardware.

Control over the strategic Tal al-Aboudi heights in the eastern parts of Maardas region in northern Hama was returned by the Syrian Army, supported by the National Defense Forces (NDF), after a tough battle with terrorists. At the same time, the Syrian Air Force struck terrorists’ positions in several areas of Hama. As result, terrorists suffered heavy losses and their military equipment was destroyed.

According to a military source of the Fars news agency, the Syrian Armed Forces also regained control over al-Mathana region in northern Hama. The source noted that it means that the town of Maardas has collapsed in a military meaning.

The source added that positions of the Syrian Army and the NDF in the region were fortified during a preparation for operations to recapture the silos, located in the western parts of Maardas.

Gatherings and fortifications of the Jaish al-Fatah terrorist group were targeted by Syrian fighter jets in Taibet al-Imam, as well as in Tal Bazam, Zour Abu Zaid, Maardas, Zour al-Taibeh and Souran, north of Hama city.

A series of airstrikes was launched on hideouts and positions of the terrorist group in al-Zakat village, the town of al-Latameneh and the north part of Kafr Zaita. Terrorists’ fortifications in the village of Hor Benafseh in the southern parts of Hama province were also targeted by Syrian warplanes. As result, tens of terrorists were killed, as well as their vehicles and positions were destroyed.

On Wednesday, large-scale operations, aimed to drive terrorists out of the town of Maardas near the fortified village of Maan, were started by Syrian troops. Terrorists’ positions inside the town were hit by missile and artillery units of the Army, concurrent with the start of the operations. According to the source, Syrian soldiers continue to advance towards the town.

At the same time, terrorists were driven back from the southern parts of Maardas by the Syrian Forces, and Jabal al-Akrad, al-Ebada, and al-Khazan farms were cleaned from terrorists.

On Tuesday, more than 25 terrorists of the Jaish al-Fateh group were killed by the Syrian Army in the northern parts of the province of Hama, as well as three their vehicles, equipped with heavy machine guns, and one bulldozer were destroyed during reflection of an attack of terrorists on military posts, located in al-Kabbaria village, north of Maan.
