Warplanes of the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) carried out a series of airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in the area of Kiribat al-Hosn in the Damascus desert on February 13, according to the al-Suwayda 24 blog.
The Syria-based blog said that the terrorist group has increased its activity in the desert, especially near the border with the northern al-Suwayda countryside. Some locals even told the blog that they had seen movements of ISIS cells inside the territory of al-Suwayda.
Last week, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) ambushed a group of 6 ISIS fighters in the Damascus desert. Sources in the 1st Division said that the group was conducting a reconnaissance operation and warned from a near attack on the northern al-Suwayda countryside.
Hundreds of ISIS fighters and commanders are currently hiding in the desert. Most of those terrorists are highly-experienced, well-armed and willing to fight until death.
In July 2018, ISIS launched a large-scale attack on several towns in the northern al-Suwayda countryside. During the attack, more than 250 people were killed and 30 others were abducted. After months of clashes, the SAA secured the northern countryside and freed the hostages.
Since Turkey won’t allow that the headchoppers in Idlib are taken care off, maybe NOW is the time to send the Tigers to this part of Syria and FINALLY finish off ISIS here before it gets out of hand again.
SAA, Iran and Hezbollah need to wipe out the Idlib terrorist enclave as Russians have no interest in upsetting their Turkish “partners”. The Syrian terror war has reached a stage where tough and costly decisions will have to be made as Americunt and Zionist agenda is endless wars and occupation of Arab lands.
Is this just to pretend that you are still fighting terrorists ?
