On March 3, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the Tiger Forces supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces advanced in the heart of the East Ghouta pocket and captured the al-Oabb farms between the districts of Duma and Misraba and the town of al-Shaffoniya, according to Syrian pro-government sources.
The SAA also captured the key towns of al-Rayhanah, Bayt Na’im and al-Muhammadiyah in the southern and eastern parts of East Ghouta. Moreover, the SAA cut off the roads between the Duma district and the town of al-Shaffoniya after it had captured several positions in the northern part of the town.
Meanwhile, Jaysh al-Islam’s defense collapsed and its fighters began an unorganized withdrawal toward their heartland, Duma district, according to Syrian pro-government activists.
However, Hamza Bayrakdar spokesman of Jaysh al-Islam claimed in an official statement that Jaysh al-Islam fighters had killed 459 SAA soldiers and had destroyed 7 armored vehicles of the SAA over the last month.

Pro-government activists viewed Bayrakdar’s statement as a propaganda stunt, which is aimed at increase the morale of Jaysh al-Islam supporters. Similar propaganda moves were implemented by the militants in the city of Aleppo during the SAA attack in 2016.

It’s Ofcourse great News to see a good advance but I’m affraid the hardiest battles are stil to come… because if u look at the map west side of Ghouta pocket is all residential districts with a lot of buildings ( they Will be fighting like street for street and building for building) … while eastside of the pocket is more open and easier to make a move and maneuver … still hoping for best , for quick advance and quick victory with a lot of dead terrorist .

The terrorists rely on the farming lands in the East of their pocket to supplement their food sources. Once they are stripped of controlling the farm lands they will be trapped in urban pockets and subject to deprivation, and the reduced perimeter of their territory will allow the gov to intensify the blockade and seal the gaps used by smugglers.
The only thing that can save these rats is a fake chemical attack,believed of course by the UN puppets.But this time hopefully the air defences are in place Everywhere.

If you find yourself dealing with daemons, you must put them through Hell. This war will continue until the SAA embraces true barbarism against the western backed daemons in Ghouta. BURN every rebel to death, put it on youtube, and project it over ghouta every day. If they claim that they will fight you even if they die slowly and painfully, put them to the test.
Embracing barbarism just creates more barbaric incidents. I prefer SAA to remain true to its origin as a proper national force and stick to the rule of law. That is what will defeat the opposition in the long run. Barbaric executions just lose your political support and impacts you negatively and your allies. Imagine the headlines in western media with photos: “SAA and Hezbollah burn people alive”. Israel and US would be laughing – partly because they enjoy people becoming barbaric, and because of the propaganda windfall in their laps.
