On Saturday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) captured the hills of Sawadi, Fajr-1, Fajr-2, Namrud and Faransi between the villages of Kafr Hawr and Heeneh north of the town of Beit Jinn in the Western Ghouta region, according to pro-government sources.
Thus, government forces surrounded Kafr Hawr from the northern, western and southwestern directions.
The Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS)-linked news agency Iba’a reported that Syrian warplanes conducted several airstrikes on Kafr Hawr on Saturday. Another militant group, Jaysh al-Ababil, announced that it captured 3 SAA soldiers during the clashes around Kafr Hawr and Heeneh.

Israeli forces shelled a position of the SAA south of Hadar and 6km south of Beit Jinn, according to pro government sources.
The Israeli Army confirmed the attack and said that one of its battle tanks fired warning shots because the SAA was constructing a fortified position in the demilitarized zone in the Golan Heights.
The Israeli Army added that constructing fortifications in the demilitarized zone is a violation of the 1974 truce agreement between Israel and Syria.
The Syrian pro-government news website Muraselon said that the Israeli shell hit a wall in the SAA position and didn’t cause any damage.
On November 3, Israel was accused of supporting an attack of HTS on Hadar town. Local sources even accused Israel of opening a route for HTS fighters through its positions in the demilitarized zone.
Israeli forces are actively work against the SAA and its allies in southern Syria, conducting limited military actions and providing support to militants in the area. Thus, Tel Aviv hopes to oppose the growing influence of Iraq and Hezbollah in the region.
