On November 19, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the Tiger Forces captured the village of Kashmah located between the cities Mayadin and al-Bukamal in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside according to Syrian pro-government sources. However, these claims are yet to be confirmed by official sources.
From its side, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq published photos showing clashes in Kashmah.

Amaq also reported that ISIS fighters attacked positions of the SAA north of al-Bukamal on November 19. ISIS fighters shelled several positions of the SAA north of al-Bukamal with a 130mm M-46 towed gun, according to Amaq.

Meanwhile, the Hezbollah media wing in Syria reported that over 150 ISIS fighters escaped from al-Bukamal city through the Euphrates River. According to the source, some of those fighters surrendered to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) after reaching the eastern bank of the river.
The Hezbllah media wing also released a video of Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps General, Qasem Soleimani, inside al-Bukamal after its liberation.

The Lebanese al-Mayadeen TV had claimed earlier that Gen. Soleimani was the main commander of the al-Bukamal operation.
In the upcoming days, the remaining ISIS fighters will be besieged by the SAA and its allies in three main pockets: between al-Bukamal and Salhiyah village, between Mayadin and Salhiyah, and in the Homs desert.
ISIS fighters in the two pockets between Mayadin and al-Bukamal will likely flee towards the eastern bank of the Euphrates. ISIS fighters in the Homs desert will be eliminated by the SAA and its allies.
God save this man. He is greatly respected by his fighters and the resistance and feared by the enemies of peace and mankind. His mere presence boosts the fighters’ moral. Looking forward for the day Iraq, Syria and the region free of IS and it’s creators.
SAA army, and any one in their allies whether they are regular army or tribesmen etc, it is the responsibility of Syrian government to take care of their health and safety. Government should provide them steel helmets, bulletproof cloths, and safety shoes.
Bulletproof cloths are easy to make just government should tell to different companies of tailors and steel fixers to fix steel plates inside army cloths and present their prototype bulletproof cloths for passing from army technicians. Several different companies of tailor masters and steel fixers can make enough bulletproof cloths for regular and non-regular army and military police.
Similarly they can also make steel helmets and steel fixed shoes.

This implies that SDF is on the other side of the river of AB or very, very near.

True. You can only surrender to and change uniforms if the SDF is near. Which sofar according to all the maps isn’t the case. Unless the maps are wrong. Or those ISIS fighters hauled ass through several kilometers of ISIS held territory towards their new uniforms.
