The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have liberated the Bir ad Dulayiyat area west of the ISIS-held T2 pumping station in the eastern part of the province of Homs.
Thus, government forces officially cut off the road between the T2 and T3 pumping stations and set a foothold for an advance on the T2 pumping station.
The T2 pumping station is an improtant ISIS-held city located near the border with Iraq, en route to the ISIS-held border town of al-Bukamal.
They are now 57 km from T2. Good!
And they have taken the T3-T2 road, very important for further activities to T2 and al Bukamal.
SAA is on the Deir Ezzor Governorate border, and that is only 20km from T2! Better!
They are 10 km from T2, not 50 !
Now only 2 km
Correction they were 10 kms from T2 pumping station .
Well done those Allies!
February 2017, TODAY, and ”tomorrow”: https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/3962da564ce26bf78b0b04ba33de3ecdb79e662ca19daac160f79895cec93feb.jpg
I am not sure the feasibility of C, but A and B are certainly in the near future.
I put ”C” because of local road heading in that direction, so it is possible Tiger Forces do that way…of course future will tell…
maybe tigers should move via road along euphrates to avoid sdf to cross the river.
Maybe so, but if they made south like i predict, then whole that region of east Hama would be encircled and could be conquered without much fighting.
Like I said 17 days ago..tigers go south to Sukhna..

I understand that there is a road(lots of roads in syria), that doesnt mean such an advance is anywhere in the near future, especially while the SDF is stealing arab land west of the euphrates.
Yes my friend there is a lot of roads in Syria, but there is only one road heading from Raqqah CS toward Sukhnah.. As I said – we will see .. one way or another SAA shoud soon connect with DEZ
I think they could head east from resafa directly., after they mop up what you consider the B pocket.
The A+B are a possibility since A is fast becoming accomplished ,B will take a little longer ,C would work if they pushed to the north allowing the smarter rats to scurry away. C is not a good strategy since they are trying to reduce their fronts size .
Good move, well done !
