On May 20, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies off a large-scale operation against ISIS cells in Syria’s central region.

The large-scale operation is meant to clear and secure vast parts of the central region, from the eastern Homs countryside all the way to the eastern Hama countryside, the southern Aleppo countryside and the southern Raqqa countryside.

The operation is reportedly being led by the SAA’s 25th Special Mission Forces Division, also known as the Tiger Forces. The elite division deployed a large, heavily-armed force in the central region in the few days leading to the operation.

Iranian-backed Syrian and Iraqi forces are also taking part in the operation which is the largest to target ISIS cells in central Syria in years.

According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the operation began with more than 15 Russian airstrikes on ISIS’s areas of influence in the eastern countryside of Hama. The airstrikes hit hideouts of the terrorist group’s cells in the outskirts of the towns of Ithriyah and Uqayribat.

Being outnumbered and outgunned by the SAA and its allies, ISIS cells will likely try to avoid a confrontation by taking shelter in remote parts of the central region.

The security situation in central Syria improved significantly in the last few months, despite a number of deadly attacks by ISIS cells. While the new operation will further improve the security situation, it will not likely put an end to the terrorist group’s insurgency in the region.

This seems to be the right way to purge Isis. You have to liberate their areas and shrink them out of the map. These territories must be secured and held with active personel in charge of security. If you cleanse and fall back, they will pop up again. Syria doesn’t have the manpower to enforce such vast areas. Good luck to the tigers.

The biggest Australian Bank was caught by the cops red handed laundering drug money and criminal monies into funding ISIS. It was national news for a couple of days till the whitewash was plastered on by the establishment and now were all politely supposed to pretend we never heard anything Didn’t see a thing.

After this then advance on the USA occupying forces and tell them they have to leave territory of Syria IMMEDIATELY and that Syrian forces will continue to advance and if USA open fire on them then OBLITERATE THE USA ILLEGAL BASES by Russian airstrikes and ground forces of Syria, the TIME IS OVER FOR THE USA IN SYRIA it is time to EXPELL THE USA and TURKISH forces from Syria the USA cannot do anything to stop this as they can’t fight on two fronts and they will be forced to either abandon Syria or Ukraine either way Syria will win, as if USA choose Ukraine then they will pull out of Syria and Syria get their territory back and if USA abandon Ukraine then the western coalition against Russia falls apart and Russia can take Ukraine within weeks and then Russia can shift their attention to Syria and force the USA out of Syria as well. – Z –

It would be great if Assad+RU would fight against ISIS, instead of civilians/local rebels.
