AlMasdarNews reports: The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their assault in the western corridor of Aleppo today, targeting both the Al-Assad and Minyan suburbs that have been the scene of intense clashes for several days.
Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army managed to break-through Jaysh Al-Fateh’s (Army of Conquest) first-line of defense in the Al-Assad Suburb, resulting in the capture of several sites, including the Science Academy and nearby church.
According to a military source in Aleppo City, the Tiger Forces are continuing to advance from the southern sector of the Al-Assad Suburb, seizing a number of villas en route to the central sector.
In addition to their advance in the Al-Assad Suburb, the Syrian Armed Forces also making another push in Minyan; however, no significant gains have been reported by local sources.
