On March 16, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) backed up by the Russian Aerospace Forces captured the town of Jisreen in the western part of the Eastern Ghouta region from Faylaq al-Rhaman, according to the Hezbollah media wing in Syria.
The SAA captured 50% of Jisreen on March 14.
Syrian pro-government activists reported that the SAA had captured a key vehicle base of Faylaq al-Rahman during its advance in Jisreen town. The SAA also managed to evacuate hundreds of civilians from the town, according to reports.
Additionally, the SAA continued evacuating civilians through a safe route in the town of Hammuriyah. According to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, more than 4,000 civilians were evacuated through the route on March 16.
A source in the SAA told SouthFront that the towns of Saqba and Kafr Batna north of Jisreen will be the next main targets of the SAA and its allies. Faylaq al-Rahman began withdrawing from these two towns on March 15, according to Western sources.

Probably all those places that until recently where heavily fortified along the Damascus front and were able to resist SAA offensives time after time.
On the plus side the only reason those places could hold out was because of places like this vehicle maintenance base. Every fortress needs resupply in men or material, or its days are numbered. In the days of old sieges were a numbers game. Whichever side would run out of supplies first, the besieged or the besiegers? Which wasn’t always as clear cut as a city or fortress about to be besieged would usually strip its surrounding areas of supplies, both for themselves and to deny them for the upcoming invaders. And armies need resupply too. That equation has changed in modern times, with modern supply lines a besieging army will always outlast the defenders. These days the question is how much is it worth to the attacker to go in and suffer casualties as opposed to keep the enemy surrounded and just let them stew in their own juices until supplies run out.
The longer the US terrorists are in any part of Ghouta the more attacks there will be on civilians in Damascus city and the greater the chance of direct US Coalition interference in the area though.
I would think that the front line ‘fortress’ area’s of the terrorists are unlikely to be populated by civilians and could be the targets of Russian thermobaric and bunker busting munitions that have taken away the advantages that a ‘defender’ had.

You are correct if these terrorists don’t withdraw from these towns then they will be buried alive there, for reestablishing security to the whole region.
Jobar is rubble, defenders use tunnels linked to command centers in zamalka. Zamalka, irbeen, harasta, douma are all connected .
Take irbeen and you cut the tunnel network in two.
This assumes, once you have control of irbeen, you can find those tunnels.
