On September 24, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies captured al-Safuaniah, al-Makrumiah, Rasm Swied, Tal Rajm al-Shara, Jurat Nazal villages east of Jubb al-Jarrah town in the eastern Homs countryside, according to the Hezbollah media wing in Syria. Moreover, the SAA captured all the hills that overlooks the captured villages.
Meanwhile, the ISIS-linked news agency claimed that ISIS fighters destroyed a BMP-1 vehicle of the SAA with a rocket propelled grenade in Hamadah Omr village near Uqayribat town.

The latest SAA advance confirms that all reports about a deal between the SAA and ISIS fighters in the eastern Hama countryside pocket are false.
So far, the only confirmed deal was to evacuate women, children and elderlies to Idlib province on September 20.
Syrian pro-government sources revealed that most of the SAA Tiger Forces units were deployed to the Hama governorate.
It’s still unknown if these units will engage in the ongoing clashes with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in the northern Hama countryside, or in the SAA offensive against ISIS fighters in the eastern Hama countryside pocket.
If the Tigers are redeploying to Hama again it means that basically Damascus seems to have given up on retaking Syria east of the Euphrates. Or that the threat of Al Qaida is bigger then previously thought.
All of the jihadists in the deescalation zones are unilaterally declaring an end to the deescalation. The US is waging a two-front war on Syria and the latter has to balance its forces carefully.
True the US just keeps digging themselves a deeper hole to get out of. The SAA and Russians were preparing for this situation as the US increased it’s support and equipment supplies into the region for their proxies. They hope their taxpaying subjects don’t get the true cost of this conflict their Govt started.
Russia will have made their own moves and they will get the US forced out by a UN vote in front of the UNGA , since this no longer a UNSC decision.
PKK/ISIS/YPG/Al Qaeda/FSA all these players are interchangeable , their leaders and soldiers all the same groups just labeled by the US differently so they don’t mix them up.
Why is this map still being used? The last SF map showed that all the area to the right has been fully liberated.
