Moreover, the SAA managed to repel a major ISIS attack on its positions north of the T4 airbase. ISIS militants had attacked the SAA points north of the T4 airbase, following a SVBIED attack. ISIS members captured a Konkurs anti-tank guide missile launcher, 3 Fagot missiles, two Metis-M missiles and one Konkurs missile. They also captured a Bulldozer and a BMP 1 vehicle. However, the SAA managed to recover all points later on the same day.

Russian and Syrian air forces warplanes and the SAA artillery targeted ISIS militants in the areas of Umm Al-Rumman and Al-Kariatain Dam in the eastern Homs countryside.
According to pro-government sources, the Ithriyah-Aleppo road is reopened after the yesterday ISIS attack on the village of Aqerabat. ISIS committed a massacre against civilians in Aqerabat and pushed the government to close the road for few hours before the SAA could regain control over the village.
Great job! Regaining the Salamiyah-Palmyra highway keeps security in east Hama and Palmyra. This move helps displaced people moce back, and secure routes for the Deir-ez-Zor offensive.
