Following few days of heavy clashes, the Syrian Army has seized control of the strategic Mallah Farms near the city of Aleppo. The control of this strategic area allows pro-government forcesto cut off the militants’ supply route heading along the Castillo road in the North of the city. If this is done, the militant-controlled areas of Aleppo will be besieged.
The Syrian Army has been conducting military operations against a joint coalition of militant group – Al Nusra, Jaysh al-Islam, Jeish al-Fatah – since ast week. Now, it looks the military efforts of the Syrian government almost resulted in the success.
