The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Hezbollah are now in only 40km west of the last ISIS stronghold in Syria, al-Bukamal city, according to a report of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) on October 27.
Al-Bukamal is located near the Syrian-Iraqi border, on a key highway between Deir Ezzor and Baghdad.
Moreover, the Hezbollah media wing in Syria reported that ISIS begin to fortify its position inside and around al-Bukamal city due to the rapid advance of the SAA and its allies. ISIS fighters blocked all roads to the al-Bukamal and planted IEDs at the city’s entrances.
Meanwhile, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq announced that ISIS fighters attacked the new positions of the SAA around the T-2 station west of al-Bukamal city. Amaq said that ISIS fighters destroyed a 57mm gun, a 14.5mm gun and two tanks of the SAA with ATGMs during the attack. Syrian pro-government sources said that the SAA and its allies repelled ISIS attack.
Thanks to the Iraqi Army advance along the Syrian-Iraqi order, the SAA and its allies might reach al-Bukamal city within days. However, it will for sure take more than days to capture the ISIS stronghold, especially because ISIS might has redeployed most of its fighters to it.
“Ooh-aah Hezbollah, sing Ooh-aah Hezbollah!”
!Hoo-Har Hexbollah! !
God I actually did sing it as well.
OOH AHH HEZBOLLAH!!!
The end is near now :)
Quickly now, before ISIS/SDF can find a location to make a deal to give SDF costumes to ISIS.
My, my, how the SDF has grown. Soon, they will have a shortage of uniforms for the new IDF>US>IS>SDF recruits!
They will need haircuts but will they convert from lunatic fringe Islam to atheism or Zoroasters?
ISISDF
“Democratic State” – the New Caliphate. lol
Nine hours after your post the US claim , just that , SDF is about to attack Al Bukamal from the north . Must be fake news or a joke .
ISUS captured a SAA T 72 with Sarab* birdcage ATGM jammer?
Its just a matter of time.before SAA comes and rapes u daesh !! May as well surrender now!!
As one can see clearly Syria was divided between USA-Israel (kurds), Syria and Turkey, and all of this came from a previous agreement. Let us see now after the end of ISIS-Daesh how Syria will be divided.
Why not invite the Iraqis in to do the job? They are very close now at Al Qaem and have a big army.
