Syrian Army Destroys over 30 ISIS Vehicles in Hama

A long convoy of terrorists of the Islamic State (IS) group was struck by missile units of the Syrian Army in the northeastern part of Hama province near a road, connecting Ithriya town in Hama and the town of Khanasser in Aleppo province. As a result of the attack, at least 30 military vehicles, carrying terrorists and their equipment, were destroyed.

Reportedly, hundreds of IS terrorists, deployed on the eastern side of the road, raided on defense lines of Syrian troops, stationed to the east of the village of Jubb al-Ali, in order to block their supply route to northern Syria, including Aleppo. However, the terrorist group failed to do this.

According to earlier today’s reports, an ambush for an IS military convoy was also set up by Syrian soldiers in the countryside of the town of al-Salamiyah, between the villages of al-Amyeh and al-Hasho. As result, a number of terrorists were killed and a large quantity of their military equipment, including about 100 rocket anti-tank launchers and various kinds of ammunition for guns and machineguns, were seized.

SAA should have announced the offensive after gathering enough resources for the offensive. This supply road would be vital as tiger forces and Desert Hawks need to be ready to march on to Al Bab. Unless they want to rely on NDF and YPG…

Forget about Al Bab, dude…

why not have light artillery teams of 10-20 maljutka users on pickups, some duschka cannons and drone oprators who simultaneously fire at such terrorist concentrations or convoys in desert? like, fast response guided missile teams which go in fast, blow up an oil convoy in the desert, and retreat? idea is not new, but with MANPADS and maljutkas it can be even more effective.
