On January 13, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) captured over twenty buildings around the Abu Backer mosque in Harasta district east of the Syrian capital, Damascus, according to Syrian pro-government sources.
Meanwhile, opposition sources reported that Syrian warplanes conducted dozens of airstrikes against positions of the Ahrar al-Sham Movement and its allies around the Armored Vehicles Base and in the districts of Harasta, Irbin and Duma.

The Syrian pro-government news outlet Damascus Now revealed that the SAA killed over 170 fighters and commanders of the Ahrar al-Sham Movement and its allies around the Armored Vehicles Base during the last few weeks. Army soldiers also destroyed two tanks and a BMP-1 vehicle of Ahrar al-Sham during the clashes around the base, according to the source.
From its side, Faylaq al-Rahman announced that its fighters ambushed a group of Syrian soldiers in Irbin district on January 12. Six SAA soldiers and officers were killed in the ambush, according to Faylaq al-Rahman.
The ongoing battle in Harasta district and around the Armored Vehicles Base will not likely end any time soon as the radical groups led by the Ahrar al-Sham Movement are showing an effective resentence against the SAA.
Trump army have entered into Syria with massive military hardware and air forces. Does Trump has taken signed consent, MOU or authority documents from Syrian government? Can Trump show these documents to the international community.
At the moment Trump has no such kind of signed document from Syrian government. So Trump is not allowed to operate on Syrian soil against terrorists or to talk about Syria. If Trump is interested to operate in Syria against terrorists then he can do through Syrian president Assad like Russian president Putin. Erdogan army have entered into northern Syria with massive military hardware and air defense missile systems to give cover to their own terrorist groups on Syrian soil that fighting against Syrian army…. Does Turkey has taken any signed consent, MOU or authority document from Syrian government or just abusing international law? Can Turkey show these documents to the international community?
