Three senior commanders of the so called Jaysh al-Ahrar were eliminated by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) during the recent battles in northern Hama and southern Idlib, the Turkish-backed group acknowledged on August 11.
The commanders were identified as Tunisian citizen Abu Misab al-Tunisi, the general military commander of Jaysh al-Ahrar, Abu Sutif al-Binishi, the general commander of the group’s special forces and Abu Qutadah al-Homsi, the main coordinator of the group’s operations room.

Formed in 2016 by several groups, which defected from the Ahrar al-Sham Movement, Jaysh al-Ahrar was among the first factions to join Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). In 2017, the faction left the al-Qaeda-affiliated group before joining the so called National Front for Liberation (NFL) a year later.

Jaysh al-Ahrar lost dozens of militants and commander in the last few months while fighting the SAA on behalf of HTS in northern Hama and southern Idlib.
The elimination of these three senior commanders is another major blow to Jaysh al-Ahrar, that may face its end soon.

There is also an IRGC base in the Jurin area near Hama.
The iranian SF in Syria are a mistery, i don see a real photo or video………the only report is when a iranian die in action.
They can blend in and most wear SAA or free lance camouflage. There are intensive Farsi and Arabic courses in the SAA now. Both Arabic and Farsi have similar alphabets and many Iranians from the south can speak Arabic and Hezbollah also helps in communication. It is impossible to detect Iranians in Syria or anywhere in the Arab world as they can simply become invisible.

In Syria and Iraq they have also gained a lot of combined arms operational experience with Russians and the Axis of Resistance in conventional battles. Hezbollah is also now much bigger, more experienced and has a international recruitment. However, the top leadership is very tightly knit and impossible to penetrate. The younger cadre that has been literally born in battle are very aggressive and will shock the Zionist scum in the next war.
In a personal way….the shias in general and the Hezbollah in particular are the defenders of christianity in the Middle East.

There are NO 6000 Iranians in Syria and never was EVER.. There were a few hundred Iranians who taught 500-1000 shia volunteers mainly at a time and some Sunnis besides the Syria SAA.. All of them have by now left. Maybe a few hundred if that IRGC special forces. All those advisers were senior officers in the IRGC and also used it as training.
Cant compare Hezbollah to Iranian forces. Who were separate and operated outside the SAA. There never was regular Iranian forces in Syria. The quds would never allow such a thing. Iraqi’s were the largest forces and even they were separate.
