Syrian Army Enters Four Key Towns In Eastern Ghouta As Last Batch Of Faylaq al-Rahman Fighters Depart Towards Idlib

Support SouthFront

On March 31, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Higher Command announced in an official statement that units of the SAA had entered the  districts of Irbin, Ayn Tarma, Zamalka and Jobar in the western part of the Eastern Ghouta region.

“After a series of carefully planned battles and military operations conducted by our armed forces with the help of friendly and allied forces, control over all the cities and settlements of the Damascus suburb of Eastern Ghouta has been restored,” the SAA Higher Command said in its statement.

The SAA entered the four strategic districts only minutes after the withdrawal of the final batch of Faylaq al-Rahman and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) fighters towards the northern governorate of Idlib. The final batch consisted of 65 buses carrying 927 fighters and 2935 members of their families, according to the Syrian Arab New Agency (SANA).

Syrian pro-government sources said that Faylaq al-Rahman and HTS had freed the last eight captives from their prisons before completing their withdrawal under the evacuation agreement which was reached on March 23.

The districts of Irbin, Ayn Tarma, Zamalka and Jobar fell into the hands of the militants after a large attack on the Syrian capital of Damascus in 2012. During the last six years, the districts were a base of the militants who shelled Damascus almost on daily basis, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians, according to pro-government sources.

Now, the SAA will work to clear the newly liberated districts from the tunnels, IEDs and weapons that have been left behind by the militants. Local observers expect that normal life will return to these districts within months, as most locals opted to stay instead of leaving with the militants.

A GUARANTEED MASSACRE OF SAA/IRGC/HEZBOLLAH FORCES IS IN THE MAKING AND AS ALWAYS, RUSSIAN FORCES DEPLOYED IN SYRIA WON’T DO A DAMN THING TO HELP THEIR PARTNERS

Syrian Army increases its presence in Deir ez-Zor preparing for an attack on US-led coalition Saturday, March 31, 2018 ( http://www.uawire.org/syrian-army-increases-its-presence-in-deir-ez-zor-in-preparation-to-attack-us-led-coalition# ) The Syrian Army is amassing the troops on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in preparation to attack the US-led coalition and retake the oil and gas fields which are under the control of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) , reports Syrian journalist Eyad Al-Hosain.

“Military preparations are underway. A massive military campaign will soon be launched. The Syrian army will enter the oil fields controlled by American-backed forces East of Euphrates, “writes the journalist on his Facebook page.

According to Al-Hosain, the Syrian military is preparing to launch an operation to retake the oil fields in the eastern countryside of the Deir ez-Zor Governorate.

There have been several attempts by the Assad forces and their allies to retake the oil and gas rich areas of Deir ez-Zor .

Greedy troll bastard that don’t donates. Particularities: is like a remora or parasite of the most voted posts (information given by the pellory of the trolls).

antoun

wanklord is the jews sionist american!!

You can call me Al

jews sionist American wan..ker.

christianblood

Should they first liberate Idlib or liberate the oil fields that are under American control?

If they choose to liberate the oil fields where American invaders are, they should have effective air-defense units or they will be massacred by American war-planes.

That Guy

Unfortunately, the Syrian air defence arsenal is quite obsolete. A single electronic warfare F18 can make SEAD (Supression of Enemy Air Defences) missions a piece of cake for F16’s armed with agm’s against such arsenal, which then later leads to having A10’s eating SAA ground forces for breakfast in easy CAS (Close Air Support) missions.

To counter the EW F18 you need a long range air defence systems (Similar to S200/300/400 and patriots). Syria has S200 in its arsenal, though it is a bit outdated and can have a bit of hard time with ECM (Electronic CounterMeasures) used by targated aircrafts, it still gets the job done at long ranges.

christianblood

Good analysis! Thanks!

Rob

Yes we know oil fields are still under ISIS I mean Washington and their allies control.

You can call me Al

That doesn’t matter much, the oil fields are just spitting out the black stuff, nowhere near any profitability. 10 years of sanctions, the war has a serious effect on output and the reservoir itself.

antoun

tien un terrorist!!

jorge

Noticed that the remora has glued to you, not to Lunyov, because you are the reply to Lunyov more voted?

as

I don’t know. Look his comment timestamp and others for a comparison ?

jorge

All it’s right with the timestamp, the remora glued to you because tought that you will not have comments, and so that thing would come in third place. It’s a smart remora, no?

Justin

Lunyov 41 votes as 13 votes

Problem?

jorge

Yes, as, here, is only the reply to Lunyov more voted, and the post of Lunyov is the post more voted, so, no problem with the votes. I just wanted to put on evidence the practices of a smart remora named Wanklord. See my comments under, Justin, if you want. I think I didn’t commented more nothing, only the practices of that troll.

Superfly

What pathetic cowards these US and Zionist sponsored Wahhabi headchoppers turned out to be. No wonder the SAA victorious soldier is giving them the FINGER! hahahaha

Rob

This a fight between evil and good. Evil will always loose and good will always win.

Is it good that East Ghouta has (at last, years late) been liberated?- absolutely yes.

Is it good that Putin delayed the liberation for years, and forced Assad to recognise the ‘rebels’ of East Ghouta as the ‘official opposition’ during these years?- absolutely NO.

Is it good Putin has given NATO (in the guise of Turkey, and now France) absolute permission to invade Syria?- absolutely NO.

Is Trump removing American forces from Syria?- Absolutely NOT. He lies to take the pressure of Putin, while joining with the growing number of British, French and Turkish NATO forces assembling in Syria.

Is it good that Putin partners with the USA to murder elite Russian irregulars who operate on behalf of the Syrian people, rather than under Putin’s direct control? Absolutely NOT.

Is it good that Putin, at the UNSC a day or so back, joined with the french, british and americans to CONDEMN Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia? This was pure evil by Putin.

Is it good that Putin helped Trump issue the worst sanctions in UN history against the people of N Korea even as Trump was ramping up sanctions on the Russian people?- No this was the act of a depraved zionist appeaser.

Putin the zionist appeaser ain’t going to save anyone. Appeasers are responsible for most of the worst wars in Human History (check them out)- for appeasers have the factual strength to discourage and deactivate rising evil powers, but choose instead to conspire with these powers in the name of appeasement.

HighLord Gaz

Putin the zionist appeaser… give it a rest you stupid cunt.

You can call me Al

Absolutely brilliant thank you. One of the best, if not the best I have ever seen.

Feeling nervous creature?

You can call me Al

I am not sure if I have come across him before, but I was scrolling down reading the comments and nearly fell off my bloody chair when I read his. Is he serious, sarcastic, a nutter – what ?.

Tudor Miron

Have no idea if he’s serious…

jerrydrakejr

I think you gonna find, when all this shit is over and done… I think you’re gonna find yourself one grim motherf**ker. The thing is, right now… you had the ability. But painful as it may be, ability… don’t last. And your days are just about over. Now, that’s a hard motherf**kin’ fact of life. But that’s a fact of life your ass is gonna have to get realistic about. You see, this business is filled to the brim with unrealistic motherf**kers. Motherf**kers who thought their ass would age like wine. If you mean it turns to Vinegar… it does. If you mean it gets better with age… it don’t. Besides, how many fights you think you have anyway? You came close, but you never made it. And if you were gonna make it, you would have made it before now. The night of the final fight, you may feel a slight sting. That’s pride f**kin’ with you. In the end, your ass goes down. Say it.

You can call me Al

WOW, that sounded like an old US made Vietnam film, “apocalypse now” !!.

EL ZORRO

Shame on you, asking the American soldiers to fight and die for your wars of CONQUEST for the greater ISRAHELL.

Rob

Its a great news. Congratulation to all SAA and their allies. They have done very great job, particularly Russia who convinced terrorists on reconciliation and made it possible for SAA to liberate Eastern Ghouta without major casualties both sides.

TheSecular

13 Down. 1 To Go. Are you ready Douma?

Richard M

What a great day! East Ghouta is now free of Orc infestation!

Marvin Joel Zavala López

Looks like Mordor’$ fell?

Barba_Papa

Well, if we’re going to continue the Lord of the Rings metaphors then Idlib is obviously Mordor, making East Ghouta what exactly? Dol Guldur in Mirkwood forest? Or the Witch Realm of Angmar?

Anyone up for a bout of Warhammer 40K analogies as well? They do have Orcs too. But they at least tend to be funny. Deez hav to hav Green busses for da Boys, cos Green Ones go fastah!

Daniel Castro

No, Mordor is obviously Washington, there lies the all-seeing-eye of evil.

HighLord Gaz

We still need to clean out Barad Dur…. I mean Douma….

Richard M

I thought Barad Dur was in Riyadh?

You can call me Al

“Barad-dûr (Dark Fortress) was the Dark Lord Sauron’s primary stronghold in Mordor, serving as his base of operations in Middle-earth during the Second and Third Ages. Barad-dûr was held together by dark magic,

Exactly Riyadh – there you go then, you two are both right.

BMWA1

YOU MEAN DC?

Rob

This is an example for Doma. I mean Doma is next.

Attrition47

Rejoice! Rejoice!

Angelo Cinarelli

I hope Syria soon will be free from the criminals Israel, USA, and Saudi Arabia. One day these criminals will pay the bill in front a God. Very soon they will pay!!

Fülöp Kiss

FUCK ERDOGAN ! GET OUT FROM SYRIA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caesar

My compliments to the Syrian army and their commander in chief Bashar al-Assad. I am sure that some other nation’s armed forces are jealous of the extraordinairy success of SAA. I thank you Russia and Iran for their more than generous helps in so many fields. One small country like Syria thought a great lesson to the arogant US who does not seem to know how to digest it since it is now running around like a headless chicken. I personally feel so happy.

Starlight

Notice how Southfront has PURPOSELY knocked off the front page all mention of the JEWISH HOLOCAUST against unarmed palestinians, now that video showing jew butchers sniping dead kneeling praying Humans, and Humans moving away from the border has surfaced online.

These images and videos do NOT suit Putin and Lavrov’s zionist agenda, so kremlin outlets have been told to SHUT THEM DOWN. The same as has happened with the mainstream media of the West, where the story is buried where a casual visitor/reader will not see it.

Jewish terror across our planet is supported just as much by Russia as it is by the Deep State, and that isn’t the fault of the Russian people but the zionist horrors that lead them. Putin arms the Saudis and arms the jewish monsters of Israel and BOASTS about ths.

Its pretty big news on RT ,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpXW1dgwMx0,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY-fSeFVwFQ

John Brown

Why don’t you post the links here?

Kira Binkley

Could it be connected in any way to the Yanks leaving Syria?

outer_rl

Trump pulled the plug on these CIA sponsored jihadis as soon as he was elected.

Kira Binkley

Huh? That’s the craziest statement anybody has ever made on South Front. Here’s the skinny, Yank: Trump had nothing to do with this. He must have grabbed your pussy one too many times.

outer_rl

Whoever’s privates he has grabbed, it’s a fact. It was more or less openly announced after he took office.

Kira Binkley

And you believed it? That Trump pulled the plug on these CIA jihadis? You have forgotten that it has been myself (KiraSeer Binkley) and Vladimir Putin that has done all the work. Trump likes to take credit for stuff he never did. Grow up!!

outer_rl

Yes, I believed it for the reasons that a/ he said he would before hand, and b/ the CIA and Corporate Media have been non-stop attacking him in retaliation.

Kira Binkley

Then you are a fool. Better yet, a sucker. And in America there is one born every minute. And THAT tells you just exactly why democracy has failed in America.

outer_rl

America was always a plutocratic oligarchy rather than a democracy. But that doesn’t change the facts of the matter we are discussing.

Kira Binkley

Only according to the Marxists. Where were you educated, Yale? Not a good credential any longer.

outer_rl

Sorry if I’m encroaching on your naive faith in American exceptionalism. I’m afraid there are no goodies and no baddies, the stars and stripes don’t represent goodness and freedom to the rest of the world, and Trump may be a saviour outside America precisely for the reasons he’s cursed inside America.

Kira Binkley

Are you talking to me, outer? ‘Cause you really don’t know me very well, do you?

outer_rl

You’re the one who asked if I was educated at Yale. You don’t know what continent I’m living in, let along what school I went to.

Kira Binkley

This is the difference: I asked, you assumed. That tells with good (not great) probable inference that you swing Left. Am I right?

outer_rl

Left and Right aren’t very meaningful labels to me. And I definitely don’t swing.

Kira Binkley

Really? Or maybe that’s: Really.

outer_rl

I want public services. I don’t want class warfare. I want human rights. I don’t want gender abolitionists indoctrinating children with ideologies that should have been abandoned in the 1970s. Am I left or right? I don’t care for those labels and nor do most of the public.

Kira Binkley

Public services? Oh, I see, you’re a taker, not a producer.

outer_rl

Everyone’s both, except vegetables and royalty.

Kira Binkley

Never heard that before. But sometimes the taker part of someone outnumbers the producer part, don’t you think? And why should someone else pay for your goodies—both material and physical. Aren’t you able to do it yourself? Someday I’ll tell you the cow parable.

outer_rl

The cow parable – do tell!

Yes, generally I agree, and a healthy society is one where people strive to give rather than trying to maximise what they take.

But at the same time there are deeper meanings to give and take, aren’t there? Who’s given more to you than anyone else? Normally the answer to that is your mother. What can you give back to her that equals the life she gave you? Nothing, it’s quite impossible.

And going further, who gives us the air we breathe, the water we drink, the ground we walk upon? No one, or God. What do we give back? Nothing, there’s nothing we can give back to God. In that sense we’re absolute takers.

Kira Binkley

I only have two parables—humans are (somewhat) more mature now than two millennia ago—The Cow Parable, and The Mexican Jail Parable. So answer me this: Who, besides God or your mother, produces the things the takers take?

HighLord Gaz

Douma is clearly next, but when do we move against Idlibistan?

Clean out Yarmouk? East Qalamoun? Daraa? ar-Rastan pocket?….. So much Wahabbi-stomping fun remains. I won’t be happy until every trace of these filthy traitorous goat-fucking foreign mercenary scum are dead and buried and pissed on daily…

Icarus Tanović

Good one!

Next target: Idlib.

These Wahhabi headchopper cowards refuse to fight and simply run away each time. These Green Buses stock option is a winner.
