The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its Iranian-backed allies have deployed fresh reinforcements in the Greater Idlib region, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on March 28.
According to the London-based monitoring group, most of the reinforcements were deployed in the vicinity of Saraqib city in southeast Idlib.
“Over the last few hours, the new reinforcements arrived in Saraqib axis and other axises east of Idlib, near the administrative borders with the governorate of Aleppo,” the SOHR’s report reads.
Greater Idlib is now under a ceasefire that was brokered by Russia and Turkey on the 5th of this month. Turkish-backed militants are violating the ceasefire by shelling government forces from time to time.
In spite of its recent agreement with Russia, Turkey is still working to strengthen its military presence in Greater Idlib by establishing more “observation posts” and deploying additional troops. Most recently, Ankara begin deploying medium-range air-defense systems in the Syrian region.
Turkey and its proxies are apparently preparing for a large confrontation with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies. The recent Syrian military reinforcements indicates that Damascus is well aware of Ankara’s plans.
The problem now is that little midget Putin allowed the Turkeys a respite to rearm and bring in reinforcements and the SAA is pretty much handicapped, just like Russian forces who are being micro-managed by a Jew puppet with no combat experience.
