The Syrian Army and its allies are preparing for a final push to liberate the town of Maarat al-Numan.
Over the past days, government forces have liberated a large number of villages from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and its Turkish-backed allies.
Now, the key militant stronghold, Maarat al-Numan, is already cut off from militants deplyoed around Saraqib. In the near future, it will likely be isolated even further. After this, the Syrian Army will start storming the city.
