Syrian Army Issued ‘Final Warning’ To Daraa’s Former Rebels – Reports

Late on July 31, Syrian authorities issued a final warning to former rebels in the southern part of Daraa city, known as Daraa al-Balad, according to a number of sources.

The authorities gave local leaders in Daraa al-Balad time until August 1 to accept a new reconciliation agreement. Under the agreement, 132 local gunmen will be expelled to opposition-held areas in northern Syria. Tight security measures will be also implemented in Daraa al-Balad.

Local leaders are yet to accept the agreement. Many of the gunmen who are wanted by Syrian authorities refuse to leave Daraa al-Balad.

A large strike force of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) led by the elite 4th Division will reportedly kick off a full-on attack on Daraa al-Balad, if local leaders fail to accept the new reconciliation agreement before the end of August 1.

The SAA has been taking measures to avoid any backlash from former rebels in other parts of Daraa. Many small checkpoints and posts in the governorate’s countryside have been evacuated. Troops were moved to highly-fortified bases.

Former rebels in the eastern and western countryside of Daraa launched a series of attacks on dozens of posts and checkpoints on July 29 in response to an attack attempt by the SAA on Daraa al-Balad.

Back then, at least 40 Syrian service members were captured by the former rebels. All the captives were released after Russian mediation by the end of July 31.

Syrian authorities are clearly serious about ending the abnormal situation in Daraa al-Balad. The SAA’s new measures guarantee that previous mistakes will not be repeated if an operation to secure the area was ordered.

Trap is still Gay and 100% proud

Yawn! It’s almost as if Assad doesn’t want his country back 100%. In 2023 Syria will be divided into 3 states. Or remain a failed state with areas being raped by the US, regularly bombed by Israel, and occupied by Turks, US, Kurds and Jihadis.

Cromwell

You hope.

Trap is still Gay and 100% proud

No moron I don’t hope, I see with my own eyes. Try looking harder.

Americunt LOSERS

These dopey Wahabbi terrorists have no hope in hell. The SAA should just flatten Daraa and start anew with urban renewal like Hafiz al Assad did with Homs in 1982.

Cromwell

Indeed Assads Dad knew how to deal with the filth.

Stop warning those animals and start exterminating them.

Fog of War

This is the final warning, yes sir, the final one. We promise , no more warnings. Truly the final one.

Trap is still Gay and 100% proud

Amen, lol!

FREESPIRIT

The PROPER response to the Invader/Occupiers should have been : LEAVE Syria NOW and I’ll let you live and then stay there or follow them, watching until they are gone from Syria.

The SAA & their allies will exterminate all foreign garbage from their lands. One day at a time.

According to information from the ground, local authorities refused a deal with the Damascus regime, after the latter started butchering ppl (with the help of Russian occupation forces). They clearerly prefer to stand their ground rather than being led away like sheep. A clear sign of their good will was the release 40 of their fellow country men. It is hoped Russia will act to avoid massacres. In the meantime, even Asad‘s „elite units“ seem too weak to take the area.
