On February 4, units of the Syrian Army kicked off an offensive on positions of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and its allies in the area west of Abu al-Duhur, in southeastern Idlib.
According to pro-government sources, the army liberated the village of Balisah and Tall Ager. Clashes also erupted near Sheikh Idris and Baris.
The situation is developing.
Earlier, government forces liberated the villages of Kadur and Rweiha southwest of Saraqib.
