The Syrian Army has killed ISIS Minister of War, Abu Mosaab al-Masri, during its operations in the eastern part of the Aleppo province, the Syrian state-run news agency SANA reported on Wednesday, citing a military source. Thus, government forces allegedly killed the general ISIS military commander in the country.
Abu Mosaab al-Masri was named among 13 other ISIS top figures that had been killed by the Syrian army during its advance in Aleppo province.
If confirmed, this will be a major blow to ISIS ahead of the expected government push in the direction of Deir Ezzor and the US-backed advance on Raqqah.
Great news! Cake and champagne!
funeral cake…
great !!! from Argentina hurray !!! let´s kill now the yanks and brits that are entering Siria by Jordan !! Go SAA !! Go Russia and Iran !! let´s kill ISIS and the fucking invaders that back ISIS !
SAA will send these scum to hell with their followers.
Do you know why the leadership was there? The area seems to me like it should be a backwater for both sides, with little strategic value. I wonder why leaderhip would be there?
Most likely a Command and Control centre that got hit. Could be quite close to Maskanah as the Russian AF has been dropping a few hellos there. For SAA Tigers it is the last stop before Raqqah, so I’m not sure it is correct to class it as low value.
Well it’s far from the Iraq border and SDF is far closer to Raqqa anyway, so it looks pointless to me.
Good work! Keep on run!
Congratulation!
Great news!!! Directly to jahannam (hell)!!!
God bless Syria and the brave SAA patriot fighters!!!
Not shedding tears for him, but can one conclude that ISIS leadership occasionally shows up on the battlefield? Iranian generals also seem to sometimes, you know, lead their troops into battle. In the West, such valor has become a thing from Lord of the Rings etc.
That’s one good thing they do though they send to many top ranks , but hell they want to die anyways
AHAHHAHAHAHAAH YAYYYYY
