On Thursday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Iranian-backed forces launched a new military operation in the southwestern Aleppo countryside, according to pro-government sources.
The alleged aim of the operation is to captured al-Hass Mount, the town of Abu al-Duhur town and the nearby airbase.
The Hezbollah media wing in Syrian announced that the SAA and its allies already captured Hujayrat Kabirah, Hujayrat Sagirah and Jubb Awwad villages in al-Hass Mount.
However, Syrian pro-government journalist Yusha Yuseef said that the SAA and its allies didn’t advance yet. According to Yusha, Hujayrat Kabirah, Hujayrat Sagirah and Jubb Awwad villages were already under the SAA control unlike what the Hezbollah media wing announced.
SSA didnt advance
yet in West khanaser, midea war talk about liberating 3 villages, they are already under control— Yusha Yuseef ?? (@MIG29_) November 2, 2017
Meanwhile, Syrian opposition sources confirmed that the SAA is heavily shelling Ramleh, Burj Azawi and Bluzia villages in al-Hass Mount.
Other opposition sources reported that the SAA is also attacking al-Rahjan, al-Shakousiyah, al-Bayoudh and Sarha villages in the northeastern Hama countryside, and Mushrafiyah village in the northern Hama countryside.
Furthermore, pro-government sources reveled that several units of the SAA and the Iranian-backed forces were deployed southeast of Hader town on the Aleppo-Hama highway in the southwestern Aleppo countryside.
The SAA advance during the first phase of its military operation will likely be slow and limited, because most elite SAA units are now deployed at frontlines against ISIS in Deir Ezzor and Homs governorates.
The SAA shall liberate all that is left of Aleppo city and beyond, giving HTS another bloody nose, similar to what happened in east Aleppo.
kudos to the syria coalition backed by her true allies …
“The SAA advance during the first phase of its military operation will likely be slow and limited” ….no worries, with limited resources, take your time and stay safe.
