On June 17, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a second phase of its military operation against ISIS cells in the eastern al-Suwayda countryside, according to the pro-government blog al-Masdar News. Currently, units of Hezbollah, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) are supporting the SAA operation there.
Al-Msdar News said that warplanes of the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) conducted a series of airstrikes on several positions of ISIS in the villages of al-Kara’a, al-Tamthounah, Khirbet al-Ambashi, and al-Habiriyeh. A day earlier, the SyAAF carried out a similar wave of airstrikes.

Meanwhile, the Syrian al-Suwayda 24 blog revealed that ISIS fighters ambushed a vehicle of the SAA in the area of al-Haramiyah in the eastern countryside of al-Suwayda on June 16. According to the independent blog, several soldiers of the SAA were killed and injured as a result of the ambush.
The first phase of the SAA military operation in the eastern al-Suwayda countryside began on June 7. Back then, the SAA and its allies captured several key positions within a few days. However, the SAA was forced to end the first phase of the operation after losing more than 30 soldiers and officers.
The second phase of the operation will likely be more successfully as new well-armed units of the SAA are participating in it. Among these units is the 62nd Brigade which joined the operation a day ago.
Finally the SAA is starting to look like a actual army instead of some poor mans PMC groop.

Many crimes have been committed by both sides of this war, I in no way support UN organizations but in this case it is blommin’ obvious what happened. Just because you choose one side does not mean they are incapable of wrongdoing.
