The Syrian army and local militias have taken control of Rasm Jays, Abu Maqbara, Abu Maqbara Saghirah from ISIS terrorists in the province of Aleppo on March 26.
Government troops also entered the village of Rasm Khamis Gharbi and reportedly regained it from ISIS. However, the area still has to be secured.
All villages are located southeast of the city of Deir Hafer. The government advance in the area indicates that the Syrian army and its allies are developing advance in the direction of the Jirah Airbase which is controlled by ISIS.
Meanwhile, Deir Hafer remains contenested. More about the situation in the city could be found in THIS article.
Meanwhile SAA left more villages to Turks :(
Which?
Somebody can explain why SAA is retreating from south of Al Bab villages (Tadef Included) ?? There is no apparent reason for that !!! So strange!!
Did not retreat from Tadef. Its fake news
But there are photos from ES in Tadef
only on the outskirts
A couple of locations were demilitarised to avoid incidents between FSA and SAA.
But it looks like FSA is taking advantage of this by occupying them!!!
Abu Taltal and ES prepares to enter more villages by rebel sources, maybe its not true but there is photo from abu taltal took by ES
Southfront published an article yesterday showing it’s not exactly the truth.
i thought deir hafer was secured? or no they gotta send in the sappers/de-miners first?
Sappers first , since it was captured with relative ease it could be mined to the teeth.
SAA will reach Jirah from the west side in the next 2 days
US and Allies have a nasty Bad Intention for SAA/Russia. They not only cut them off from Raqqah but the most terrible is cutting them off completely from any further advance to the East alongside Euphrates River. How I wish Russia could do more!
It wont work. the SAA wont allow ISIS to linger on its soil. The SDF will work with the SAA, its obvious.
The SAA and NDF forces here deserve a little credit for their advance. This farmland is perfect terrain for ATG defenders and the SAA no longer have much -if any- tiger forces left to help them. They are, unfortunately, not good as withstanding assault. If those isis fighters at jirah airbase launch a counterattack they can send the SAA reeling back. Another assault on That airbase needs to be attempted
You are delusional. ISIS is cut of at various points of the highway. Their lines are broken all over the place. Mosul, Raqqa, Deir Haffer, Deir ezzor, countryside of palmyra. Counterattack? With what soldiers. That counter attack will be known as the ISIS last charge. Its just a matter of time before Deir Hafer falls to SAA. The Hama offensive will be a bloody memory in two weeks. When the Damascus suburbs are finally subdued this was will be over.
I like your optimism. But isis has been getting help from foreign governments to attack the SAA for years.
Wise people say you never step into the same river twice. Obama is out. Isis will be gone before next years tomatoes turn red.
ATG??
