On October 21, the Syrain Arab Army (SAA) and its allies retook the city of al-Qaryatayn from ISIS in central Syria. Government troops entered the city after a series of firefights with ISIS cells.
However, a lack of major clashes inside the city indicates that ISIS mobile groups had likely withdrawn from the city before the start of the storm. They still pose a significant threat to the SAA-held villages and towns in central Syria.

I don’t love anyone except the brave Syrian people and their government and President who alone have faced a brutal US/Zionist colonial imperialist aggression, invasion and occupation and stood tall. The Russians try to get all the credit for the advances the Syrian government forces and their allies have made in the past years. But most of the credit should go to the Syrian Arab Army, the Syrian people, Hezbollah, the Palestinians, and other on the ground fighting the enemy face to face, not in the air. At the moment Russia isn’t helping Syria much. On the contrary it is keeping it back from claiming its oil and gas resources n the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river. Even Russia’s initiative of the so called ‘De-Escalation zones’ has been very detrimental for tge Syrian government forces, permitting the Zionist defeated terrrorists to re-group, re-arm and launch attacks on Syrian government positions from their safe heavens and incubators, risking to undo all that has been achieved with so much sacrifice by the Syrian government in the past two years. Notable is also the fraternalization of Russia with the two arch enemies of Syria and naterial initiators of the foreign aggression against the Syrian state in 2011, namely Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

I don’t understand the lack of information from over there. Did ISis just vanish? did SAA use some chemical weapons to massacre them so they don’t want everyone to know? I would expect a video from the town showing hundreds of dead ISIS vermin, why we don’t see that? :( Since they were under siege it is impossible that they left the city unless they were allowed to leave.
Because the clashes in this war are mostly people firing in the air from behind earth mounds. There is a very small number of elite soldiers that make up a very small percentage of the total, doing 95 % of all the fighting. Everyone else is just an extra in a movie.
IT would be nice to see some rats hanged on the public square though… or perhaps they should give them to the local civilians to club them to death…
They moved the vehicles before they were encircled, that explains why ISIS had so much equipment. The US didn’t expect them to get destroyed by the SAA in the sandbox.
Great news, and shame to the US-NATO for having trained and armed these ISIS terrorists at the Al-Tanf base (which these NATO terrorists illegally invaded and occupy) and having given them satellite intelligence allowing ISIS to infiltrate from Al-Tanf to Al-Qaryatayn, the Christian town they had always dreamed of attacking.
