On Thursday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces, retook the village of Salihiyah from ISIS in the province of Homs.
Salihiyah is located southwest of the important ISIS strong point of Uqayribat but its liberation has no significant value.
However, the progress in the area could show that the SAA had deployed enoug forces to make a successfull push to liberate Uqayribat from ISIS.
