Following the liberation of Bayt Siwa and an advance on Misraba, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have achieved another important success in the eastern part of the Eastern Ghouta region, near Damascus.
According to pro-government sources, units of the SAA and the Republican Guard enterd the villages of Hawsh Ashari and Hawsh Qubaybat and forced militants to withdraw from them. Despite this, clashes are still ongoing in their vicinity.
