The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and local pro-government fighters repelled a limited attack by Turkish-backed militants on the towns of Nubl and al-Zahraa in northern Aleppo on May 24.

According to local sources, a small unit of militants infiltrated the outskirt of the two towns and attacked a position of the SAA near Ma’ersta al-Khan. However, the army and local fighters targeted the militants with heavy weapons forcing them to withdraw.

Hezbollah’s Military Media in Syria released photos showing the bodies of three militants, who had been killed in the failed attack.

A source in the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) told the Baladi News outlet that four Syrian soldiers were killed and ten others were injured in the attack. However, these claims are yet to be verified.

In response to the attack, the SAA artillery pounded several positions of Turkish-backed factions in the nearby town of Bayanou.

This unusual incident was preceded with a series of rocket and mortar attacks on Nubl and al-Zahraa. Turkish-backed militants claim that these attacks are a response to the ongoing airstrikes on Idlib and its surroundings. However, local observers believe that the two towns are being targeted due to their close ties with Kurdish forces.

We know the picture Mustafa my friend!

Turkey is suppliyng terrorists to destroy syria in order to appease israel. The same Israel that is also supporting our other friends, the kurds.

Until you figure out that your beings used as a fucking rug by your jewish masters, your the same as isis.

I wish no wrong to the Turkish people , but know who the real ennemy is, you can do something positive about it.

gustavo

Because of the stupid cease fire declared by SAA due to Russia pressure (pleasing Erdogan), SAA is now in very big problem due to its lack of tactic and lack of enough Russia air support.

I seem to recall you saying the same thing during the Douma and Alleppo campaigns, and they both ended in a victory for the SAA. :)

The reality is that President Putin has to juggle with a number of balls. It would be nice to see the Turks, Saudi’s and Israel being bought to account for supporting UN designated terrorist gangs, and that day will come I suspect.

Have patience, Gustavo :)

yes, your comment gave me hope and peace, inspiration in these uncertain times :)))

Many of us expect Amazon and Pizza deliveries to be virtually instant. War is never like that and never will be.

Couple that with the Syrian conflict that has a plethora of interconnected and fluid alliances, and we have a highly complex situation that requires great patience , and intelligence ,in both senses of the word, to weave through.

The US coalition of terrors greatest weakness are their proxy gangs with generally low IQ’s who demand action NOW, and of course the belief that NATO is invincible. The Taliban have proven with patience that the NATO is not all powerful, despite all the toys of war they have.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

yes, i remember 2 years ago when i first started coming on this site and learning about the war, i was amazed how i was able to finally understand who are the good guys and the bad guys, as i had never before seen a war with so many different factions and interconnected/fluid alliances, like you said

It is true to sai I think , that Wars rarely benefit the people who are send to fight them at the battle fronts.

For example, a carpenter will still be a carpenter, whosoever wins the war.

It is also true to say that an extreme forms of civilian oppression under despotic rulers such as ISIS and Zionist’s, are worth fighting against.

The largest ever concentration camp of Gaza is proof of that.

If Putin avoid Jewish advisors then everything will be cleared to Putin. Making friend and foe both happy at sametime does not work.

The YPG and SDF have long supported the towns when they were in a cut off ( from SAA held areas) enclave and they supported SDF and YPG when Turks invaded Afrin. So close indeed.

I believe we should stop using terms like “Turkish backed rebels”, the glaring fact is that these savages are part and parcel of the Turkish military and trained and armed by US and Zionist masters. The Turks forcibly recruit these deadend terrorists from impoverished refugee camps by withholding food rations or taking their families hostage. It is pretty much a Zionist style coercion as we see in Occupied Palestine. The Turks have used the ill-advised Russian brokered “ceasefires” to arm, train and relocate these headchoppers. Russia needs to reevaluate its policies vis a vis Turkey and think of the dangerous strategic implications for Russian security if these savages are allowed to entrench themselves in Syria, which will become a US, Zionist and Salafist terror nexus for the destabilization of Russia, Europe, Iran and even China. There is a concerted US/Zionist terror push into CIS states now and these headchoppers are appearing all over the ex-Soviet republics of Central Asia and Caucasus, along with US and Zionist advisers. The plan is to destroy Russia into regions and plunder its immense resources as even some well researched SouthFront articles lately have stated. Yugoslavia’s destruction was the template and Ukraine now plays the destructive part that Bosnia and the CIA stooge Alija Izetbegović and his scummy son played.

The greatest strategic problem Russia has always had is access to the Bosphorus. It is therefore necessary to pander to Turkey until the NATO situation there is a lot worse, in my opinion.

Nibbul and Zahra are a particular target of these filth, because they are servants of the Wahhabist heretics in the Ape Kingdom of Saud. Nibbul and al-Zahra are Shiite towns, this sect of Islam especially demonised by the apostates who fill the ranks of these barbaric mercenary battalions. The former moneybags in Riyadh may not be paying their wages, but the Turk Muslim Brother in Ankara has plenty left over from his al-Qaeda accounts.
