The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has lost contact with one of its units in eastern Homs where a fierce battle with ISIS remnants is taking place, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on July 4.
The army’s unit, which consisted of 25 service members, allegedly went missing while they were engaged in heavy clashes with the terrorist group. These claims are yet to be confirmed.
The ongoing battle in eastern Homs started with an attack by ISIS cells on SAA positions there on July 2. The Russian Aerospace Forces are reportedly providing army troops in the region with air support.
According to the SOHR, two Syrian service members and five terrorists of ISIS were killed in eastern Homs late on July 4.
“The death toll of regime forces and the militants loyal to them reached 20, while the death toll of the organization [ISIS] members is 31 … The number of those killed may rise as many of the wounded [on both sides] are in a critical condition,” the monitoring group said in its report.
Hundreds of ISIS fighters and commanders are now taking shelter in Homs desert, which lays between eastern Homs and wester Deir Ezzor.
The terrorists likely launched their attack in an attempt to capture additional resources that would help them survive during the summer. Now, they are being depleted.
Syrian army needs to get its act together or call in the Houthis who can find them and ISIS.

Sorry, but that is unlikely as the Americunts have rearmed ISIS and Russia is too weak and collaborating with the Zionist cunts and Turkey to keep this conflict going. Last year the Iranians and the allied militias were on the verge of liberating Idlib and then little Putin, against the advice of his own generals in Syria, all of whom disappeared, cut a deal with Erdogan and the terrorists. Now Turkey is too well entrenched and has effectively annexed Idlib and even the kids their now speak Turkish and go to Turkish schools. This is the same pattern of annexation the Zionist used in Palestine by eradicating the culture and language of the occupied people.

I am a realist and not a fan of Putin, whose only interest is in protecting the Jew oligarchs and Zionists. This was confirmed by a Russian friend of mine who told me that the Russian military is as frustrated as the Syrians. I had known this all along, but this guy is close of the inner workings of the military. There is no way on earth that a high tech country like Russia with powerful radars and satellites would not know much in advance about even a bird flying out of Occupied Palestine, let alone daily F-16 and F-15 strike packages overflying Lebanon, Jordan and Saudi airspace and launching missiles at Syria and Iraq. The only option that will work is to attack the Zionists and engage them in a painful land war as they simply will have to mobilize all their manpower. Even if Syria loses some land and assets, in the long run as Lebanon and Hezbollah proved the Zionist cunts simply do not have the manpower or resources to fight beyond a few weeks. The simple logic of warfare is to impose a deterrent cost and so far no one has challenged the Zionist cunts in Syria.

Still, the number of foreigners visiting Turkey increased almost 22% from 2017 to 2018. The Turkish economy is increasingly reliant on tourism.
Tourism in Turkey funds genocide, ethic cleansing and war. There is a direct relationship between the tourist industry in Turkey, the Erdoğan regime and the arms trade. Money spent on your holiday may be spent on killing Kurds.
According to figures released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, in 2018 alone, tourism accounted for an income of $29.5 billion USD and the same year Turkey’s military budget was raised by 24% to $19 billion USD.
To put it bluntly: the more tourists enjoy Turkey’s beaches, the more Kurds will die.
Erdoğan’s power base is reliant on a stable economy

I was just reading a UNICEF report that over 50 million children from Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria. Looks like the east Homs operation thats been going on is a battle of attrition which ISIS is unlikely to win, but theyre nothing if not resilient. They have very well hidden bases most assuredly deep inside the cave complexes there. It could take years to root all of them out…

As I wrote yesterday it was mentioned at Our text TV news, that 44 died at Sukna and the mainparts were from ISIS. Several was wounded. I do not know the source.

Losing contact with command/other units is not per se a deathsentence to a professional and disciplined unit. Every unit and individual soldier (should) know what to do in case of “comming off net”.

Isis fighters don’t go back to their hidden bases after a battle, they go back to their homes, then they go to battle again the next day. It’s hard to find them because they’re not really hiding, so to really get rid of them you have to go to their homes and find them, because these guys aren’t mostly foreign mercenaries like they used to be, they’re all locally homegrown now, and most of them come from southern Deir ez Zor, not Homs.
