Early on May 13, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) exchanged fire with militants in different parts of the Greater Idlib region.
Militants targeted SAA positions near the town of Hizareen in southern Idlib. Army units responded to the attack in kind.
Later, the army artillery pounded militants’ positions in the town of Kabani in Mount Kurd in the northern countryside of Lattakia, according to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

The ceasefire in Greater Idlib, which was brokered by Russia and Turkey on March 5, appears to be nearing its end. The militants are launching more and more attacks.
Last week, al-Qaeda-affiliated militants launched a large attack on SAA positions in northwestern Hama. More than 30 Syrian soldiers were killed in the clashes. A tank was also captured by the militants.
The SAA stepped up its artillery and rocket strikes on Greater Idlib following the attack. However, a proper response is yet to be delivered.
The army and its allies will likely launch a large-scale operation in Greater Idlib, if the March 5 agreement collapse. The repeated militant’s’ attacks indicate that this could happen soon.

Once Ramadan is over the Syrian military need to kick an offensive in first week after Ramadan,it would be a limited action since the Turkish supported will always violated the cease fire or once they violated the cease fire. Turkey will not risk an all out war with Russian and Erdogan knows that’s one line he can’t not crush cause of instability that would spread in his nation and in the government. The Turkey would not use aircraft,they would only use drones and artillery to support they criminal gangs and I know for a fact these things could be eliminated especially if the Russian raise they toned against Turkey supporting those Criminals gangs who violated the cease fire and demand they must be deal with and withdrew from a certain area of a good scale.
But which militants attacked the SAA, was it pro Turkish militants or anti Turkish militants, because now that we have both flavours of terrorist it’s important to know which group it actually was. And I don’t think the anti Turkish militants attacked the SAA [or even want to anymore], they’re already in a struggle for survival with their old allies and way too busy to worry about the SAA right now, so I suspect it was the pro Turkish militants doing the attacking and trying their best to provoke the SAA into starting a campaign against HTS. LOL, what’s even better than watching your enemy divide into a hundred different militias and then start infighting amongst themselves, it’s watching your enemy divide into 2 roughly equal forces and then watching them hammer the hell out of each other, LOL.
