On November 3, the Syrian Army (SAA) detected and targeted a group of militants, which had been preparing to attack some of its positions in the northern Hama countrywide, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). As a result, several militants were reportedly killed and injured.
“A unit of the army detected a group of terrorists from Jaysh al-Izza while they were trying to sneak from the southeastern part of the town of al-Lataminah towards military positions around the town … the group was targeted with suitable weapons,” the SANA’s reporter in Hama said.
Jaysh al-Izza, which was backed by U.S., is considered one of the closest allies of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). On November 1, the radical group launched an attack in the southeastern Idlib countryside, during which three Syrian soldiers were killed.
A day earlier, a Syrian source said that the SAA will launch a military operation in northwestern Syria, if the militants there continue to violate the Russian-Turkish deconfliction agreement.
GOOD JOB SAA!!! ??????
Day just started with great news!
The saa should unexpectedly blitz the demilitarized zone. Fortune favors the bold. Dont even tell the russians till the day of if secrecy can be maintained.
Hummmm, the russians are assisting the syrian general staff, I think, so, if I’m right, it will be an syrian-russian blitz, and not unexpected, why you think Erdogan is turning his eyes to East Euphrates, instead of being worried with the inplementation of the demilitarized zone in Idlib?
but s?a need help from Russia.saa can do nothing with out Russia.
