The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have made a series of attacks against Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) positions in the province of Latakia.
Government forces attacked positions belonging to the terrorist group in the area of Hayat and allegedly destroyed a munition warehouse and 2 vehicles.
Firefights between government troops and members of militant groups operating in the area were also reportd near Sandreen, Sabra and Kellaz.
