its almost done. After years of horror and threat Damasus is save. At last. A huge achievement by SAA and friends after Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Palmyra and all other places. What a joy what a reliëf! SAA and allies are the best!!!
Do you have Lupus?
I’m very sorry, its a terrible disease to have. Hope you feel better.
Not yet dude…
Now that the jihadi terrorist wing of the israeli army has reached complete and total failure, israel is gonna step up to the plate and do its own dirty work for once…
Agree. This is only the beginning of a whole new chapter of warfare!
A major battle of this war is being fought in an area smaller than my regular commute. On the ground I’m sure that the actual lines are not nearly so defined as these mark a fluid series of interlocking positions and hideouts, and in urban environments coordination is difficult. Considering that at its narrowest point the SAA corridor is only a few city blocks across this is a very slow battle, although that is to be expected given the circumstances.
You are correct, and enemy has had 3 years building tunnels, bompproof deep bunkers and stockpiling wpns and munitions etc.. Destroy a building OK on the surface but enemy will re-appear in next building and so on.
That’s an exaggeration, you’re assuming that ISIS forms a united defensive front and the SAA is pressing as hard as they theoretically could. The problem is that both sides lack camaraderie, although ISIS far more so.
Dai’ish above ground perimeter has shrunk, now control less than 2 sq km comprising sub-districts Yarmuk Camp https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a4fa2912211a0dd149234ecd32495b33ea8be80c796ae8a29d4f23628e0375ec.jpg and portions of Yarmuk Central and at-Tadamon. SAA establishing control of 30 St splitting northern Hajar al-Aswad from Yarmuk Camp. Ongoing advances against enemy positions around at-Tadamon east – heavy pounding gentlemen, heavy pounding, no prisoners !
SITMAP as at approx 0200 Damascus time – lines of contact are just links to/from known enemy firing positions, NOT static defended lines nor underground https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/1c54f4061065b8dc10588c100a1028c81a95c8f1e0918fb518387fac1e690496.jpg
