On October 11, the Syrian army, the National Defense Forces (NDF) and the Syrian marines, supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces, regained all sites that terrorist groups (Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, Failaq al-Sham, Jabhat Ansar al-Din and others) captured in the Kurdish Mountains in northern Latakia on Octoboer 10 under the banner of the Ashoura Battle operation.
The blue color at the map below depicts the areas that had been claimed to be captured in northern Latakia by the joint terrorist forces.
