The Syrian army, supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces, has been developing a counter-offensive against the joint jihadi forces in southern Aleppo.
Recently, pro-government forces have recaptured the strategic 1070 Apartment Project and several areas near Tel Muhba.

If this battle is over I think this is the biggest victory of the SAA and allies yet.

But you have something confused, 1070 Apartment Project and Nasr is the same area, the same thing, with two different names, so the map is wrong also, those buildings marked as Nasr should be in red color. Defeating the counterattack and deepening their control areas around western Aleppo would spell doom for the jihadists trapped within the encircled area.
Jihadists pre-announced their intent, SAA knew it was coming, jihadists were drawn out, now stuck in a trap/cauldron. jihadists might get surrounded.
