On June 18 morning, members of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Turkish-backed militant groups launched an assault on several positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in northern Hama.
The so-called “moderate opposition” reportedly used two suicide vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (SVBIEDs). One exploded near SAA positions in Jalamah. Another one was eliminated.
By the afternoon, the SAA has repelled most of militant attacks. Nonetheless, sporadic clashes are still ongoing in the area.
