On Saturday, the Hezbollah media wing in Syria announced that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies managed to repel an attack of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) from the direction of the al-Lirmon galleries, the Service Building and Al-Samon Bakery at the SAA positions in the Zahra Association in the area of the city of Aleppo. The SAA allegedly managed to kill 8 HTC fighters while repelling the failed attack.
This attack is believed to be a reconnaissance by fire of HTS and its allies. According to SAA sources, HTS during this month transferred a large force to the areas of Hayyan, Hreitan and Andan, and moved at least 5 tanks to the Zahra front, where they may be preparing to attack Aleppo city again.
A large number of radical Islamist groups in Syria have called for attacking the SAA to stop its advance against ISIS. Sheikh Khaled al-Mawardi called for attacking the SAA to stop its attack against ISIS on 10 July.

HTS and its allies from the FSA actually managed to stop the SAA’s attack against ISIS in the eastern Aleppo countryside earlier this year, after launching a large offensive against the SAA in Hama.
