Late on June 10, ISIS cells attacked several positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) around the town of Uqayribat in the southeastern Hama countryside.

Clashes around Uqayribat lasted until the early hours of June 11. Eventually, the army repelled the attack with support from the Syrian Arab Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces. Several airstrikes targeted the terrorists as well as their equipment in the villages of Rweideh, Jani Elelbawi and Mustariyhat Tahmaz.

The SAA responded to the terrorist’s attack by launching a large combing operation in the southeastern countryside of Hama, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

“The Syrian Observatory documented more human casualties due to air and ground bombing and clashes during the past 24 hours, as the death toll of Islamic State elements rose to 21, while the death toll of the regime forces and the militants loyal to them rose to 13,” the UK-based monitoring group said in a report.

The ongoing SAA operations in eastern Homs and western Deir Ezzor have apparently forced ISIS cells to fled towards southeast Hama.

The terrorist group’s remnants in central Syria are under immense pressure now. If the SAA and its allies continue their operations, the group presence in the region may reach its end this year.

As you can see you can absolutely see nothing from these Non-Idlib maps, because SF simply doesn’t show you the entire Syria governorates map – which I was forced to get from the net in order to find out where the hell all the places in Syria are… Turns out Hama neighbors Idlib, so at least closer to the Green Junk Heap that needs to be cleared Up, or just declared United Turkey-Syria.
