The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) repelled yet another limited ground attack by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies on its positions near the town of al-Hamameyat in northern Hama on June 13, according to the al-Mayadeen TV.
At the same time, the army was able to shoot down an armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) while it was flying over its positions in the same region. Such UAVs are believed to be made and operated by HTS.
These attacks were not the first violation of the new ceasefire agreement, which was announced a day earlier. HTS and its allies launched a ground assault on SAA positions in northern Hama and southern Idlib less than 12 hours after the start of the ceasefire.
The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) and the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a new wave of airstrikes on militants’ positions in northern Hama and southern Idlib in response to these new attacks.
If HTS and its allies continue to launch attacks, the ceasefire will likely collapse. In this event, the SAA may resume its ground operations around Greater Idlib.
More on this topic:
Ceasefire is not in terrorists language, just in Russian or Syrian language.
And all they do during it is resupply, and there.nothing stopping them from.violating it when they feel they’re ready to attack again, its retarded
Your news sources seems to be RT and the Syrian official media outlets. NOT the most credible news source I must say..
As opposed to what? CNN, BBC or Al Jareeza?!
Hard to see You read as You wish Yourself. You dont see what it exist, which might be even worse as well as fx what happend in Egypt,
Compared to a lot of other medies CNN, BBC and Al Jareezera are quite sober. You have to add and subtract less then in most others, but You have to have filter on.
You also forget the almost free press is vital for the western systems. We would have collapsed long ¨time or has been in the ME/Russian level, if we did, what most other local medies do. Ours are not oened and runned by our Goverments.
Thats the vital difference from most of Yours. By that we also get several oppinions about things, because medies and we are learned to think ourselves.
In that You take too much as lies from Our Goverments, but a lot of those oppinions are not made by our Goverments, whcih can rely on is what fx USA do.
You also are totally focused on a few world medias and hardly know the many others, we read too.
Of course its much easier being You having only hard boased and totally lying media as fx in Turkey, where You hardly knows, what going on in Your own country. Statistics are like crime about it: 2/3 of all crime are among family and closed related to them.
So kindliest go back and make neutral instance and openess by institutions like ours. Theats free speech, neutral police and courts systems and at least trying to keep corruption by the Govements down. You also only has one string systems giving no rights as well as responsabilities to the populations.
Very good examples such as Assad and Erdogan can be reelected keeeping any other down by any methods are good examples.
Investing in Egypt is same thing. As sson as those Brotherhoods got some power based on, they should reform the system, they instead grabbed and grabbed anything, they could. And the result was, they could have kept Mubarak in stead of Sissy.
Do you seriously dispute that CNN, BBC or Al Jareeza have all spent almost a decade shamelessly promoting Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qeida based terrorist factions in Syria? Yes or no? Who do you think the terrorist factions holed up right now in Idlib province are?
Well said
Good job ! Fuck terrorists everyway you can !! Go SAA
don’t cry baby, the next drone will be in your mother’s bed
Once Again, US Airstrikes Afghan Army Position, Killing Allied Soldiers.
For the third time in as many months, US forces have carried out an airstrike on defensive positions occupied by their allies, the Afghan National Army, killing friendly soldiers.
Six Afghan National Army troops were killed in the airstrike, the third instance of deadly friendly fire in the past 92 days. No US troops were killed or injured in the incident.
In fact, an April report by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) found that US forces killed more Afghan civilians in the first three months of 2019 than the Taliban and other insurgents fighting the Afghan government had. Before April, US forces killed 309 Afghan civilians, while insurgent forces killed only 227, Sputnik reported.
