The Syrian army and the country’s National Defense Forces (NDF) have reseized the Rahbet al-Ishara from the Jaysh al-Islam militant group. The base is located near the village of al-Riyhan in the Eastergn Ghouta region (near the Syrian capital, Damascus).
Meanwhile, reports appeared that the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra or Al-Nusra Front) have attacked the NDF in the Qudsiyah subrub of Damascus. Local sources report that a firefight is ongoing in the area.
