Early on June 7, the Syrian Arab Army and the National Defense Forces reportedly retook the villages of Kafr Hud and Tal Malah, which had been seized by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) and its Turkish-backed allies on June 6.
According to pro-government sources, after this advance, government forces advanced on the settlement of Jubain, which was remaining in the hands of militants. Clashes are now ongoing there.
