On February 3, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) captured several buildings around the local administration office in the northwestern part of the Irbin district east of the Syrian capital Damascus, according to pro-government sources. The SAA also captured several buildings in the southern part of the Harasta district north of Irbin.
Pro-government activists reported that the SAA had destroyed a media center of the Ahrar al-Sham Movement in Irbinwith Golan heavy rockets. Warplanes of the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) supported the SAA attack and conducted several airstrikes on positions of Faylaq al-Rahman and Ahrar al-Sham in Irbin and Harasta.
From its side, Faylaq al-Rahman announced that its fighters are currently trying to repel the attack of the SAA on Irbin. However, the group didn’t release any details about the ongoing clashes there.

An officer of the SAA told South Front that the SAA is currently trying to reach the road between the distrcits of Irbin and Mudayrah. If the SAA achieves this goal, it will be able to cut all the supply lines of the Ahrar al-Sham Movement and Faylaq al-Rahman around the Armored Vehicles Base northwest of Mudayrah.

The attack of the SAA will probably fail because of well fortified anti government positions. Like we have seen in Jobar, harasta and Ain Aarma Frontlines. Syria “insider” is a well known terrorist supporter, not worth a response. He keeps spreading rubbish propaganda, such as that HTS successfully had taken back Abu Al Duhur Airbase after VBIED attacks a few days ago etc. . The funny thing is that even though every time his statements turn out to be rubbish, he still seems to spread terrorist propaganda with great enthusiasm (he might well write some of that fiction himself and be paid in Shekels) – so there is only one logical explanation: Syrian insider is part of them.

Must admit, I would too. Or even the building, with various White Helmets scattered around. I wonder how many will miss out attending the Oscars, and dining with Clooney, owing to the good work of the Syrian Army?

When one talks of supply lines, how ongoing long has this war raged, and just who and where from are the supplies coming. When one sees even Tins of AK and 7.62×56 mg rounds stacked in piles we could say maybe backpackers after black market purchase but when we find lap top controlled armed drones and advanced NATO missels and rockets. Highly explosive chemicals not easily manufactured packed in what seems unlimited vehicle borne rocket launchers, those are not black market bought. US/NATO controls all the non Russian China small arms manufacturing facilities in Egypt, Africa and primarily old Yugoslavic Balkan plants. Besides US arms we find Finland, SWEDEN, French, German and Netherlands oldest and modern anti tank/armor and air missels. Those nations are making billions in sales. US and allies have been pouring yearly 10’s of millions in arms to Iraq Kurds. In the past Israel has not been adverse of selling black and open market their oldest models of US supplied armaments to anyone with shekels, and then recieving modernized gear from US for free Until those out of country supply lines can be eliminated Syria will always face enemy terrorist in its lands.
