Responding to the remaining threat of a Turkish military operation in the area of Manbij, the Syrian Army and its allies are deploying reinforcements to the area. While it’s still unclear what positions government forces will hold in case of the full-scale deal with the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, it appears clear that the Syrian military is serious in its goal to secure the area.

problem is in afrin the ypg did not have the full support of the SAA and they did not have actual SAA unites.
Their problem was that than Kurfs didn’t fully “get it” and was still pinning their hopes on US “help”.
