The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) have shot down three makeshift drones which were launched by militants occupying the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.
The first and second drones were shot down in the outskirts of the town of Saraqib in the southern Idlib countryside on November 14 and 15. Both makeshift drones were reportedly armed with small unguided munitions.
The third makeshift drone was shot down near the town of Attera in the northern countryside of Lattakia. The drone was fitted with an anti-tank warhead for suicide missions.
All three drones were similar in design to types known to be manufactured and operated by al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the de-facto ruler of Greater Idlib. The terrorist group attacked government-held areas around the region with drones on several occasions over the last few years.
Earlier this month, Russia warned that HTS and the Turkistan Islamic Party, which is also linked to al-Qaeda, are plotting to attack Hmeimim Air Base, the headquarters of its forces in Syria, with a large number of makeshift drones.
Efforts are already being made to eradicate HTS’s drone program. In August and September, the SAA and the Russian Aerospace Forces targeted several drone workshops, storage and training facilities of the terrorist group in Greater Idlib. Dozens of makeshift drones were destroyed along with their control and launch stations. Many drone experts and operators were also killed.

Easy design. You can get all the components from simple Chinese toys for $10 each. The bomb is something else.
What komponent is the black boxes on the wings on the last picture? And what material is the drone made of?
