On November 22, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies launched their military operation towards Abu al-Duhur airbase east of Abu al-Duhur town in the southwestern Aleppo countryside according to pro-government sources. However, these claims were not confirmed by any official source.

From its side, the HTS-linked news agency Iba’a reported that HTS fighters repelled a massive attack of the SAA on several positions of HTS around Rajm Sawan, Hajara and al-Rashadiyah villages in the southwestern Aleppo countryside. According to Iba’a HTS fighters killed a group of SAA soldiers while repelling the attack.

The TIP news agency Islam Awazi released on November 22, photos of TIP fighters shelling positions of the SAA in Sarha village in the northeastern Hama countryside, effectively confirming the opposition claims.

This is a key military base, and alot of men died defending it during a nearly 3 year long siege…

Its finally payback time and retribution.

Syria is clinched in a stalemate in South Allepo and North Hama. The rebels have a ring of defense with anti-tank missiles for which the Syrian army don´t have an efective answer. The way i see it, the only answer to the anti-tank snipers of the rebels are the armed aerial drones. These drones iran have and use, but there is not enought of them and Syria need to learn how to use them as Iraq army learned how to use Chinese armed drones.. Syria needs to train as much drone attack teams as they train their tank teams. Without attack drones, North Hama wil continu to be a cemitery of Syrian Tanks.

As usual, this is the only time that the Syrian army can be denigrated so off you go. When this load of US head-chopping, heart-eating rapers have been overrun, you’ll go quiet.

Are you crazy?? I am trying to help by outlying a strategy that worked in Iraq against the terrorists and could save a lot of lives of Syrian Soldiers. You don´t have to be yelling at everyone that have a different opinion than yours.

The solution to fortified positions is combined arms, with drones just one of many components. If you rely too much on drones the enemy will quickly Jam them.

The SAA on many fronts just don’t have enough manpower to utilize combined arms. They badly need infantry replacement to defend long overstretched front lines (mostly NDF). As a result they have too few people for adequate artillery, air support, drone and reconnaissance, c3, etc. Most fronts have to share support teams and resources based too far away for quick response.

It’s been that way for years and the coalition partners have filled the gaps on an as needed basis. Which is why Syria is winning the war.

shut up! you have no idea! Lets just leave it at that! “you’re trying to help”? Who the fuck is gonna come to this website and say, “hey general, this guy on the SF website had an amazing idea and I think we should implement it immediately! Maybe I can email him and get him to head our entire armies forces! We will need to listen to every word he says because he seems really smart! He must be smart because he leaves comments on south front!

YOURE A FUCKIN IDIOT!!

Shut the fuck up!

Attrition47

I think you overestimate your tactical nous; I suggest you pay more attention to the sinews of war, it will do you good.

Justin

its called an airforce u idiot! Attack helicopters, ground attack aircraft L39’s and SU-25’s! KA-52’s and Mil -28’s! Once DeZ is taken care of, Idlib will fall fast! The SAA are already gaining ground as it is! Once the 10,000 plus soldiers arrive from Dez, its game over!

The airforce will soften up HTS sooooo much! Just bombard them every fuckin day! Helicopters concentrated fully on them! U can bet ur life their will be infighting between Rebels and HTS and deals will be made!

Ur analysis is total crap!

MeMadMax

Uhhh….

You do realize that the so called “FSA” AKA Al-qaeda have lost 19 towns/villages in the past week right?

What was left of the rebels back was broken in idlib during the last hama offensive…. All that was needed was the SAA to go after it.

Rob

Syrian government should have to wait just five days for Deir Ezzor war to end. Tigers and SAA need reinforcement there in Deir Ezzor.
