Syrian Army Strikes Back: Ceasefire Violations In Aleppo Countryside

Illustrative image

On November 21, militants of the former branch of al-Qaeda in Syria, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), shelled the districts of al-Zahra and al-Nil in the northern part of the city of Aleppo with more than 15 mortar rounds, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

“The terrorists’ mortar attack caused material damage, however no civilians were injured,” the SANA’s reporter in Aleppo said.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) retaliated to this new violation of the Russian-Turkish deconfliction agreement right away and shelled several positions of HTS north and west of Aleppo. A source in the army told SouthFront that the shelling was heavier than usual.

These repeated violations of the deconfliction agreement may force the SAA and its allies to launch a large-scale military operation against HTS and its allies in northwestern Syria. Last week, Syrian and Lebanese source claimed that the army is indeed preparing to launch such operation very soon.

Stop stricking back terrorists, just start the offensive in Idlib, Terrorists in Idlib must be wiped off, and this must be understood mainly by Russia.

From a conflict between Russia and Turkey right now US would benefit the most.Turkey needs to find out where should they send their terrorists first.

He doesn’t care. He wants to see Russia weakened by wasting more money, lives and public support on the war than is necessary to win it in a cost effective manner with a minimal loss of life. As they currently are.

That’s how I understand it too

i hope its not true….but news in turkey today is the deployment of saudi and uae troops in east syria…..almadas news….. … as far as idlib is concearned…russia decided on the green light for turkey to invade..russia decided on the demilitrized bs zone…… russia has sooner or later have to decide…give idlib and afrin to turkey and its proxies or to SAA.And if anyone doesnot understand why russia….because the outcome of any confrontation between jihadi pricks and TAF and SAA will be ultimately decided by the russian actions…will russia actively help with its airforce the SAA attack? will they not? will russia allow TAF airfoce to get involved?will russia forces shoot at TAF planes? Thats alot of ifs and what….. and what about the jihadi plans of another fals flag chemical attack???what side will turkey take?? the last false flag operations were praised by erdogan as the works of evil assad and he chanted out at how it is possible that the world is watching while assad gasses his folks…. in short….russia/putin brought this mess in idlib on themselves…..and i sure hope that putin has some big leverage over erdogan we all dont know about.

Syria can interdict TAF with their own s-300. It’s no need for Russia to get involved directly with TAF.

I’ve got my eye on Hader, if it’s going to happen this is where it’ll start, it’s just 60 km from there to the Turkish border, and they could cut Idlib in half. The southern areas of Idlib have 100,000 soldiers ready and waiting, if Idlib was divided into a north and south district from a staging point in Hader, it wouldn’t take more than a month to wipe out all the rebels in the south. But I think Erdogan has to make a move from Aleppo to Ar Raqqah before that happens, when he does the poo will hit the fan, he’ll be fighting the Kurds in Aleppo and Ar Raqqah, and the SAA and Russia in Idlib, unless of course he gets out of southern Idlib and leaves it for the Saudis and HTS, and I’m leaning towards that scenario.
