Jaysh Al-Islam terrorists captured several points inside the cities of Harasta and Douma in Greater Damascus in late August 2015 to close off the Homs-Damascus Highway from the government forces.
Today, the Syrian Arab Army, National Defense Forces (NDF) and the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) supported by the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces have liberated the remaining points under terrorist control in the cities of Harasta and Douma.
A battlefield reporter said that by capturing remaining points in the city of Harsata and Douma the government forces gained full control over the Homs-Damascus Highway.
