Syrian Army, Turkish Forces Clash With Each Other In Northern Al-Hasakah

On June 20, heavy clashes broke out between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Turkish-backed militants in the northern al-Hasakah countryside.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the clashes took place near the towns of Umm Ushbah and al-Asadiyah in the early hours of the morning.

“No information about casualties has been received, thus far,” the London-based monitoring group said in its report.

Prior to the clashes, the Turkish military shelled the town of Qubur al-Qrajina next to Umm Ushbah and al-Asadiyah. The three towns are located near the town of Tell Tamr, where Russian forces are known to be deployed.

Earlier this week, the Turkish military and its proxies deployed large reinforcements north and northwest of Tell Tamr in northern al-Hasakah.

The recent clashes expose the fragile nature of the ceasefire in northeastern Syria. A serious confrontation could soon take place in the region, if Turkish forces continue to carry out provocations against the SAA and Kurdish forces.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

The Turks said they wanted the SAA to replace the SDF along the Turkish border to appease security concerns, and they did, well all except for the areas east of Al Qamishli, but the Turks were still unhappy after they got what they wanted from Russia and the Syria. Then Turkey made more demands, they wanted Russia to control some strategic towns instead of the SAA, and they also wanted joint Russian/Turkish patrols along the M4, ok the Russians said and Turkey won again, but guess what, they still weren’t completely happy with that. Then Erdogan demanded that Turkish forces should control the M4 highway all through Ar Raqqah and Al Hasakah, but Assad said a big fat no to that relayed proposal, he told the Russians to tell the Turks to stick that idea where it really belonged, back in the rubbish bin. Most of Erdogan’s original demands haven’t been fulfilled yet and he’s growing impatient, he must still believe all his original demands will be met eventually, otherwise he wouldn’t be doing what he is.

Burning the locals food crops in an effort to scare the local population away,

Shelling SDF and SAA positions for no reason at all, just spontaneous and indiscriminate shelling,

And most important of all, he sent his Kurdish SNC stooge to try and negotiate a power sharing arrangement in the Rojava government, and so far it seems to be successful.

Most of you have no idea what’s going on right now but Turkey and the US are both conspiring to form a united opposition Syrian government that encompasses both the US and the Turkish supported regions. And Russia according to their very own resolution 2254, is legally obliged to facilitate that political process by helping them, and that’s what Russia’s doing right now, exactly what they said they would according to resolution 2254 and the subsequent Astana agreements.

We’re all born slaves and sadly most of us die as slaves, but it doesn’t have to be like that, we can all learn to think for ourselves instead, we don’t have to follow our masters like lambs to the slaughter, there is no fee dinner at the end of the line, just a sharp knife. Trust no one, especially the people you trust the most, and especially don’t trust the people that feed you the most, whoever they are.

Resolution 2254 is magically materializing in front of our eyes but most of us can’t quite see it yet, maybe when the M4’s reopened it will become a little clearer for us all to see, the Astana process is making it more and more visible every day.
